Tell us about the background of Arsin Rug Gallery and how the Dallas Design District Showroom came to be.
Arsin Rug Gallery was born out of a family business. James Arsin, the showroom owner, has continued on his father’s legacy of supplying rugs that originated out of Tehran’s famous Grand Bazaar. James originally opened his showroom on Slocum Street and decided he wanted a larger space and a greater presence in the Design Center to showcase his handmade pieces.

Tell us about some of your favorite trends, styles, and/or collections for Fall/Winter 2023.
We love that antiques are having a comeback! We love that more and more designers are not afraid of using the traditional Persian carpets with their bright colors and red backgrounds. We have a vast inventory of handed down antiques and hope to be able to show all of them off very soon!
